We have over 20 years of photography experience and use high-end camera systems to deliver outstanding results.
Our time-lapse cameras are custom made at our workshop here in the UK. The housing has been designed specifically for time-lapse work over many years. They are lightweight with a much smaller footprint than typical repurposed CCTV housings.
The smaller size design reduces wind vibrations and is more versatile to mount. It's unique ball joint mounting system make getting the right angle a breeze.
We also have cameras with self-cleaning glass and internal heaters to help stop any fogging in icy and humid conditions.
We are always innovating and developing new and interesting ways to push the limits of long term time-lapse.
Every camera comes with an online portal. The portal can be used for progress monitoring as well as marketing and social media.
Search, and download any high-res photo from the whole project 24/7
Camera setting can be changed anytime throughout the project.
All image data is stored at three different secure locations.
During editing, the finished film is pieced together from the raw images. We use specialist software to reduce flicker, remove unwanted images and stabilize footage. Working with so much data is laborious, but the results are worth it.
We use specialist editing software such as LRTimelapse which is designed to produce high-quality time-lapse footage.
Monthly and milestone videos can be produced throughout your project.
Logos, music and graphics can be added to the edited footage.
Footage can be delivered in whatever codex and format you need.
Cotgrave Shopping centre redevelopment
We were commissioned to record a £10.5m regeneration project.
A new multi-service centre in Cotgrave to house GPs, police, library and Rushcliffe Borough Council contact point. The existing police station, library and health centre were removed and replaced with a new open space. The space was landscaped to create a welcoming environment for shoppers.
We used one solar powered camera to capture the overall project and shot on the ground footage at particular times of work activity.
The online viewer was also used to monitor the project and became a useful tool for the project manager.
Trent Barton go Contact-less
East Midlands bus company Trent Barton were the first to roll out tap-on, tap-off contact-less payments in the UK.
The change took place over a weekend and we captured the work with our cameras.
We used two static time-lapse cameras that were put in place two days before the work started. The cameras were powered with battery packs as main power was unavailable. To get the right angle of view overlooking the workshop we attached the cameras to the roof supports with our ball joint mounting system. Two on the ground time-lapse cameras were used to capture the ticketing machines installation and new signage.
MP Moran new warehouse and headquarters
MP Moran builder merchants wanted to document the build of their new warehouse in Watford.
A solar powered time-lapse camera was mounted on a rooftop overlooking the site. The camera captured one photo every ten minutes for 18 months.
Images were uploaded to their viewer and they were able to download and print updated images of the site each week.
K1 & K2 - THE FLOATING PAVILIONS, WOOD WHARF
Kilnbridge were engaged by Canary Wharf Contractors Ltd in October 2019 to construct a pair of floating concrete structures connected by a series of bridges, boardwalks and pontoons to create a new bustling restaurant destination in the Wood Wharf district.
This time-lapse footage captures how the concrete hulls were constructed over 16 weeks.
Once the slab and perimeter ring beams had been poured, the 4.5m high perimeter walls were cast with DOKA Alu-Framax shutters in twelve separate pours optimised to minimise subsequent shrinkage cracks.
One solar powered dlsr camera system was used for this project. The camera uploaded three time a day.
Q. Can you change the number of images taken each day?
Yes. We have full remote control of the scheduling.
Q. What is the image viewer?
This is a web based portal that allows you to see images every 15 minutes from site.
Q. Do you take care of the data plan?
Yes
Q. How often are the images taken?
This depends on the project. We typically capture either a ‘burst’ of 25 images at the same time each day or at an interval of every 5-15 minutes. We avoid the interval of every 20-30 mins as this produces poor results.
Q. Can I install the system myself?
No as we need to ensure that the installation is done correctly.
Q. Where do we operate?
We are based in Nottingham and work across the UK.
Q. Can you provide a white label service for film makers
Yes we work on contracts for independent film makers production companys. We value our customers—their privacy, and enjoy working as a non-competitive supplier.
If you have any other questions get in touch and we will do our best to help you with your project.
